Constructed using 40 Denier Pertex Sheild fabric, the Minimus Outdoor Jacket from Montane is super lightweight but also offers full waterproof protection; perfect when exploring in harsh weather conditions. The waterproof and windproof nature of the jacket protects against severe wind and rain ensuring you remain warm and dry for as long as possible. Pertex Quantum is designed to be lightweight and packable, keeping you warm without unnecessary bulk or weight. It is also superbly durable and provides ample abrasion resistance. Another key benefit of this material is that also offers a great deal of stretch and therefore, allows the wearer to receive a comfortable, snug fit without causing them to feel as though their movements are being restricted.
For added weather protection, a fully adjustable roll-away hood can be used to shield your face from wind and rain. Complete with a wired peak, the hood can be molded to ensure the right amount of coverage when the rain starts to fall. Adjustable cuffs and hem help to block wind and rain entering through these openings and disturbing the warm atmosphere inside of the jacket. As well as this a mid-height collar provides protection from harsh winds and sits comfortably against the neck to reduce chafing and irritability. YKK Matte AquaGuard Zip also runs down the center front of the jacket. This allows the wearer to quickly and easily adjust the amount of coverage or ventilation they receive at the front of the body depending on personal preference and weather conditions. Two mesh-lined aquaguard zip pockets are big enough to hold a map and ensure a constant supply of ventilation whilst pit zips also exist to increases overall breathability. Completing the jacket are reflective details which ensure visibility to passing vehicles on late night adventures.
