The VIA Gecko Vest is the ultimate lightweight race-day and training pack, designed for maximum efficiency and high-level performance. Combining just enough essential storage and POLYGIENE permanent odour control, to help you push your limits and keep you there.
Constructed using a CONTACT Flyte Mesh Air Back Pad, the Montane VIA Gecko Vest is highly breathable and fast drying. Enhanced breathability allows cool air to flow through the garment whilst, at the same time releasing hot, humid air. It works to wick excess sweat and moisture away from the skin where it can be easily evaporated so you remain cool, dry and comfortable at all times. The fabric is also treated with Polygiene odour control which helps to prevent the build-up of bacteria which could cause odour and even damage to the garment. Additionally, a FREEFLIGHT Chassis has been used on the vest and is designed for body-hugging, load carrying comfort during movement over long distances. The Chassis allows the user's ribcage to freely expand for unrestricted and comfortable breathing during exertion. 3 point stretch harness straps ensuring an adjustable fit, plus multiple attachment points allow you to customise the pack however you please. The flat backstretch sleeve pocket is big enough to store a shell jacket whilst a multi-pocket configuration exists for all your storage needs; plus its compatible with montane soft flasks, which don't come with the pack. Underarm pole attachments are handy for storing pole when not in use and a removable whistle accessory is a must for any race day.
