Blending the remarkable properties of Merino wool and PrimaLoft, this baselayer is designed for active use in year round conditions. Premium Merino wool draws vapour sweat away from the body whilst high-quality PrimaLoft yarns wick liquid sweat across the outer surface, allowing it to dry quickly.
The Primino 220 Zip-Neck Top from Montane is constructed from a blended fabric that uses Merino fibres. The Merino allows this garment to offer Temperature control to regulate body temperature in various weather conditions. The fabric is also extremely breathable as it absorbs vapour let off from the body and releases it out of the garment to keep you feeling cool, dry, and comfortable. UV protection is also offered as the Merino gives the wearer's skin protection against harmful UV rays. The Merino wool in the fabric also helps the garment to be naturally anti-bacterial, so it can keep you feeling fresh for longer and can be worn without washing for days and still not cause an odour.
A half-length zip runs down the center of the chest which allows the wearer to quickly and easily adjust the amount of ventilation or coverage they receive depending on weather conditions and personal preference. The low-rising collar on this top helps to protect the neck area from sun damage, backpack straps, and outer layers which could run and cause discomfort and chafe. Flat locking seams have been used throughout construction which allows the top to sit closely against the skin without causing chafe and discomfort which is often caused by larger, bulky seams.
