The Montane Cetus waterproof jacket is a high-performance hardshell that offers exceptional breathability. Built using the new PETRICHOR technology, the Cetus jacket has a recycled nylon 30D ripstop outer that will give you excellent weather protection.
Montane have used their new PETRICHOR technology in the construction of the Cetus Jacket. PETRICHOR three-layer technology delivers exceptional waterproof protection with a hydrostatic head of 20,000mm and exceptionally breathable performance, ensuring you remain protected no matter the weather conditions. It scores a RET 5 rating, which means it is ideally suited for high-output activities, where it will remain breathable to keep you dry inside and out. This is achieved through a windproof membrane that transports water vapour and moisture away from the body. The membrane is sandwiched between the waterproof face fabric and the back material for enhanced durability and next-to-skin comfort. Laminated technology features at the peak, hem and cuff tabs to reduce seams and further improve durability while the YKK Aquaguard full front zip assists in putting the jacket on and off and can also be used to regulate airflow for optimal ventilation. A fully adjustable hood ensures a perfect fit whilst offering further protection from the elements and the offset seams intersect to reduce irritation for improved comfort and construction. The hem is fully adjustable to minimise heat loss and block windchill and finally, the YKK Aquaguard external zippered pockets and internal pocket offer adequate storage space for your essential items or a refuge for your hands when the temperature drops.
