The garment uses a cosy Thermo Grid brushed-back fleece with stretch side and underarm panels, keeping you comfortable on the move and allowing flexible movement. The construction works to balance a perfect warmth-to-weight ratio in order to keep you comfortable from the start to the finish of your journey. The Protium XPD utilises Polartec Thermal Pro Hi-Loft, which is thermally regulating, for ultra cosy warmth, meaning the garment is perfect as part of your layering system over the winter months. An under-helmet hood fits snugly around your head, for a comfortable fit that's compatible with your climbing helmet to ensure you remain safe. A full-length YKK front zip not only prevents the rain from entering, but will also allow you to make changes to the amount of airflow that enters the garment and provides an easy on-and-off system. To allow safe storage of your belongings, the jacket has a zipped chest pocket for easy access to your valuables and two zipped hand pockets with YKK zips for essentials. Low-profile seams ensure chafe-free comfort, and the low-profile cuffs and hem make layering easy.
