Synthetic Mesh Upper
The New Balance XC 7 was constructed using a lightweight mesh which provides ventilation to the feet, keeping them cool and dry, while the synthetic materials provide support. To ensure comfort, the shoe is developed with a no-sew upper application which helps reduce the risk of irritation and discomfort. The upper also feature a 3D printed upper design for aesthetic and a thin comfort tongue and contoured collar for additional comfort.
REVlite Midsole
REVlite resides in the midsole to supply resilient underfoot cushioning. The innovative foam compound provides the same responsiveness and durability of New Balance foams 30% heavier, offering a feathery ride that doesn't minimise construction or sacrifice underfoot cushioning and stability. Light in weight and low in profile, it helps to spare your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces.
Aggressive Outsole
The lugged, energetic outsole is designed to maintain a high level of traction at all times, allowing you to stay grounded when running over rough terrain. The XC 7 offers versatility as the spikes can be removed so you can be ready for the track, trail, mud or pavement at any time.
**You don't want to feel your toe cramped up against the front of the shoe. A spike should feel like it was meant for your foot, a little more snug than a training shoe feels so we would recommend half a size up on normal shoes**
