New Balance Minimus 10v1 Trail Running Shoes
Off-road adventure awaits. The original fit and feel of the Minimus 10v1 Trail Running Shoe is back. With an upper made of flexible synthetic/mesh materials and a Vibram outsole with flex grooves, this men's trail running shoe offers the traction and durability you need to run on rocky trails. A midfoot wrap helps your foot stay in place, while premium performance foam provides lightweight support.
Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the Minimus 10v1 running shoes are constructed of a breathable mesh. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously pushing out hot, muggy air. The upper also employs synthetic overlays which provide added durability and a more wrap around fit. The overlays work with the traditional lacing system to wrap around the foot providing a locked-in fit, preventing any slipping in the shoes. A Midfoot wrap contours the midfoot and provides a comfortable and snug fit, preventing any slipping from occurring within the shoes. Lastly, an odour resistant treatment is added to the uppers lining to prevent the growth of odour causing microbes, keeping your shoes smelling fresher for longer.
Acteva Midsole
Acteva is a highly engineered foam that resists compression set due to consistent cell wall thickness, uniform cell size and consistent cell shape. Acteva is a superior lightweight foam with exceptional durability, made with Dupont engage which is 12% lighter than standard EVA foams.
The midsole unit absorbs shock and impact forces that occur during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle and harnesses the energy created. Once harnessed the midsole then transfers the energy to the forefoot area of the shoe where it uses the energy to push you off onto your next step.
Vibram Outsole
The New Balance Minimus 10v1 has been fitted with a Vibram outsole technology. Vibram is a flexible compound that has been updated to offer the highest in durability, maximum surface contact and support to the natural foot position, yet provides multi-directional traction.
