Continuing with the same fast-feeling REVlite bottom unit as its predecessor, this update features a lightweight but surprisingly structured upper that is ready to tackle anything from 5k to 26.2. A FantomFit support cage provides a secure midfoot fit, while a breathable mesh package is designed for a light and airy feel. A new tongue construction offers a sleek and streamlined fit that is ready for race day.
FantomFit Upper
FantomFit uppers will encase each foot in streamlined comfort. FantomFit technology uses a skeletally engineered construction to provide ultralight support and fit; it is created by fusing two thin materials with a no-sew process. This seamless fabrication means that weight, layers and bulk are reduced, as well as the risk of rubbing and blisters (because we know how those can ruin your day), meaning you get a barefoot friendly feel. Perforations in the synthetic mesh increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. A new thin felt tongue sits smoothly against the skin to protect against lace pressure whilst enhancing the streamlined fit of the 1400v6.
REVLite Midsole
REVlite resides in the midsole to supply resilient underfoot cushioning. The innovative foam compound provides the same responsiveness and durability of New Balance foams 30% heavier, offering a feathery ride that doesn't minimise construction or sacrifice underfoot cushioning and stability. Light in weight and low in profile, it helps to spare your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces.
Blown Rubber Outsole
A blown rubber outsole completes the 1400v6, supplying sticky grip across every ground.
