Engineered Knit Upper
The uppers of the FuelCell Echolucent are constructed of a Knit Mesh that encases each foot in breathable comfort. The knit allows air to fully permeate the entire construction, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air while simultaneously forcing out hot, muggy air. Furthermore, the knit allows the toes to spread and move without compromising on structural integrity meaning you can stay more comfortable throughout those longer runs. The textile of the upper offers a modern take on running shoes allowing you to look fashionable on and off the court.
FuelCell Midsole
The FuelCell midsole compound is a nitrogen-infused foam that drives you off the cushioning platform quickly and delivers long-lasting performance. This combined with New Balance's innovative REVlite compound provides premium responsiveness and durability. REVlite is 30% lighter than standard midsole foams, allowing you to smash PB's. The midsole absorbs the shock and negative impact forces as you heel strike and then uses that energy to catapult you off into your next step, allowing you to be fast than ever before.
Blown Rubber Outsole
A rubber outsole completes the Echolucent, supplying durable grip and full ground contact across every road. New Balance's N-Durance is a key feature on the outsole, this is a rubber compound developed specifically for high wearing areas making these ideal whilst running providing you with additional grip and traction allowing you to move with ease. Flex grooves are etched into the outsole to allow the shoe to move with the foot rather than control it, ensuring a more comfortable and natural run.
