New Balance Fresh Foam Vongo v4 Running Shoes
The Men's Fresh Foam Vongo v4 delivers a smooth, supportive ride mile after mile. Offering a thoughtful design in its third generation gives you the ultimate balance of cushioning and support for the runner that needs mild stability but still desires a soft, smooth transition. It also features a lightweight upper made from breathable air mesh with a strategic 3D screen print midfoot cage, a moulded sockliner and bootie construction for a secure fit and fast feel.
Breathable Air Mesh Upper
The upper of the New Balance Vongo v4 is constructed from a breathable air mesh that allows air to fully permeate the entire material, providing a constant supply of fresh cool air. Additionally, the mesh enhances next to foot comfort and allows the feet to spread as you run on unforgiving surfaces. Furthermore, the Vongo v4 offers a bootie-style construction which offers a glove-like fit. This innovative creation enhances comfort and eliminates the chances of chafing and skin irritation throughout every run. A 3D screen print midfoot cage provides a locked-in, supportive fit while a moulded sockliner offers step-in, next to foot cushioning and adds a bit more comfort on longer runs.
Fresh Foam Midsole
The full-length Fresh Foam keeps the cushioning consistent and improves the transition in the gait cycle. The innovative technique of making the medial side a bit firmer and more elevated smoothly and gradually holds off overpronation. The Fresh Foam Vongo is still fitted with the New Balance signature plush, but firm and responsive cushioning. The midsole is also able to follow the natural bending on the foot, allowing the feet to move comfortably in a range of directions.
Blown Rubber Outsole
The outsole is dominated by blown rubber in most parts. There are various lugs of different sizes and shapes that afford excellent traction on the road and groomed trails. A noteworthy inclusion is the deep and substantial cuts that run from the heel to the midfoot which increases flexibility and helps with the movement from the heel to the forefoot.
