Breathable Mesh Upper

The upper of the Fuelcell Elite has a breathable mesh that will feel extremely smooth and comfortable against the feet. The advanced lightweight material allows air to enter and exit freely. As you begin to exercise, the warm air that builds up within the shoes as a result of an increase of activity is able to escape out. Once it has been removed, the air is replaced by cooler air from outside. This will work constantly over the course of a long run, ensuring that you will always have a ventilated feel that will remove all distractions. The material is extremely lightweight, which helps contribute to the overall lightweight nature of the shoes. In addition to this, the material will react to moisture on the surface by wicking it away. This means that sweat and rainfall will be removed from the shoes efficiently in order to keep the shoes feeling lightweight and comfortable at all times. The smooth and seamless feel within the shoe will mean that you won't feel any irritations from rubbing and chafing. Reinforced Trace Fibre through the midfoot to the rearfoot provides enough stretch to get your foot in and out without compromising the secure, locked-down fit and midfoot support. The bootie construction hugs the foot for maximum comfort whilst creating a sleek fit and a distinct aesthetic. A synthetic suede tip exists on the toe to provide added durability so you can continue with complete confidence. The secure lacing system will achieve a personalised and comfortable fit that lasts the distance. A flat-lying tongue will sit comfortably on the ankle, ensuring that you won't be restricted in any way whatsoever.

FuelCell Compound Midsole

The Elite uses New Balance's most advanced FuelCell midsole compound that will offer much more energy return than previous FuelCell shoes. The thick material is extremely soft in its nature, providing outstanding cushioning to take the weight off your joints like the knees and ankles. This will reduce the risk of injuries, as well as preventing fatigue from occurring. The EVA towards the bottom of the midsole will also work to prevent shocks and heavy contacts with the ground from causing any discomfort. In addition to this, the shocks and compression from the gait that is produced will be returned as rebound to give you an added spring in your step. As well as this, the shoe has a full-length carbon fibre plate, designed to give you an extraordinary amount of propulsion, which will give you more out of every stride. This will propel you on to faster times, pushing you to new PB's in all distances.

Dynaride Outsole

The outsole is coated in Dynaride, a technology that is designed to give you exceptional control and grip in dynamic conditions. The material itself is exceptionally lightweight, which will contribute to keeping the shoes lightweight. The rubber is extremely tacky, able to form a solid connection with a wide range of different hard surfaces. In addition to this, the outsole has strategically positioned grooves, and these will work to anchor your feet in place, especially on wet ground. This will mean that you will always have a solid base to push on from, providing a high level of efficiency with little power going to waste. The rubber is also extremely durable and abrasion-resistant. This will mean that it will maintain its shape and definition over a long period of time, improving their lifespan and long-term performance.
