New Balance Fresh Foam X More v4 Running Shoes

The New Balance Fresh Foam More v4 is New Balance's most cushioned shoe to date. The More v4 is 80% softer than its predecessor and has a 5% higher energy return. Thanks to new techniques, it has been created in such a way that you experience maximum cushioning and softness without having to compromise on stability.

Engineered Mesh Upper

Envelope your feet in ultimate comfort with this engineered mesh upper. The micro perforations allow heat, vapour and moisture to escape, whilst simultaneously encouraging cool, fresh air to enter and permeate around the shoe for a pleasant cooling sensation. This provides all-day comfort as excess moisture is wicked away to the surface of the shoe where it can then dry quickly, and feet can breathe. Thanks to its lightweight construction, you can run faster without bulk holding you back. The upper is completed with a traditional lace closure that offers a secure fit that ensures greater stability and control.

Fresh Foam X Midsole

Providing maximum cushioning and softness whilst still offering a stable ride, the midsole features a wider base at the forefoot and features Fresh Foam X for an 80% softer feel than the v3. The newest version of Fresh Foam is a more energetic rebound than its predecessor. Attenuating shock impact, the Fresh Foam X protects against stress to joints when striking down on hard, unforgiving surfaces without compromising a responsive, natural ride. Delivering plush underfoot cushioning, the Fresh Foam is a fusion of plush foam and advanced design, creating an ultra-cushioned and geometrically sound ride. Fresh Foam encourages a smooth heel-toe-transition and reduces the use of superfluous muscle power; this diminishes fatigue, keeping you motivated for longer. The upper of the midsole runs higher around the heel and midfoot so that you are standing in the midsole, rather than on it, thus guiding you steadily forward.

Durable Rubber Outsole

A durable rubber outsole completes the Fresh Foam More v4, supplying sticky grip for multi-directional traction. The rubber is able to withstand damage from uneven terrain to give you added confidence when out running. The sole creates a solid friction bond on a variety of different surfaces, crucial for control as you race around the roads, reducing the risk of injury during wear. As well as this, multi-directional grooves also feature on the outsole to further increase traction, as they are strategically placed to assist with acceleration, braking and changes of direction. To further enhance the stability of the More v4, the outsole features a more rigid rubber under the heel and midfoot to provide more torsional stiffness.
