Synthetic Upper
Created from a synthetic fabric, the uppers of the Fresh Foam Garoe provide a high level of protection and support. Not only this but the upper is highly breathable whilst keeping out dirt and debris, therefore, allowing you to take on challenging terrain and changing paths. The fabric upper has perforations that allow air to flow through and at the same time release hot muggy air, creating the perfect microclimate for your feet to thrive in. The uppers feature overlays throughout helping to increase the durability and provide protection from rocks and debris on the trails. Finishing the upper is a standard lacing system that provides a secure and personalised fit for distraction-free strides.
Fresh Foam X Midsole
The newest version of Fresh Foam has a more energetic rebound than its predecessor. The full-length Fresh Foam keeps the cushioning consistent and improves the transition in the gait cycle. The top-bed foam and Fresh Foam X underfoot construction displaces heel impact and offers a responsive approach to cushioning. The Fresh Foam Garoé is fitted with the New Balance signature plush, but firm and responsive cushioning. The midsole is also able to follow the natural bending of the foot, allowing the feet to move comfortably in a range of directions.
AT Tread Outsole
The New Balance Garoe shoes feature an AT tread outsole that ensures traction and grip on varied terrain. This is thanks to the trail and road tread pattern, which gifts you with an unparalleled grip on wet and dry surfaces, rugged longevity and optimal ground adaptability. The rubber is able to form a solid bond with the ground beneath it to ensure traction and control as you explore the unbeaten path. The shoes have a new lug construction which supplies you with better traction on gravel and loose dirt, allowing you to tackle awkward ascents and difficult descents.
