The upper has been engineered using a new process that utilises printing methods without the use of water and doesn't generate waste to help be more sustainably aware. The shoes will also provide a comfortable level of softness against your foot due to the lightly padded tongue, therefore ensuring the shoes don't chafe or irritate the feet. Plus, the Toe Protect rubber compound wraps the toes to reinforce the shoe's trail-worthy state, increasing its durability and defending feet against roots, rocks and other general hazards. The full-length Fresh Foam keeps the cushioning consistent, improves the transition in the gait cycle and uses even more natural materials to keep up with New Balance's commitment to be more environmentally friendly. The top-bed foam and Fresh Foam X underfoot construction displaces heel impact and offers a responsive approach to cushioning. The Fresh Foam X Hierro v8 is still fitted with the New Balance signature plush, but firm and responsive cushioning.
