Synthetic Mesh Upper

Made using a second-skin style mesh construction, the 1080v3 has exceptionally breathable and fresh properties, to keep you cool and comfortable on your run. This construction keeps feet secure within the shoes, whilst allowing fresh, cool air to travel around your foot for an optimum level of comfort. The stretchy fit of the upper allows for easy on and off. A soft, padded tongue sits closely to the foot to enhance comfort. Additionally, the shoes have a traditional lace-up construction to provide a secure, locked-in fit, meaning in-shoe slippage is reduced.

EVA Midsole

Providing you with optimal comfort and cushioning, the New Balance 1080v3 utilises EVA foam cushioning. The EVA provides you with an excellent level of energetic rebound, giving plush underfoot comfort, and protecting you from injuries during high-impact elements of your race. The full-length foam keeps the cushioning consistent and improves the transition in the gait cycle.

Blown Rubber Outsole

A blown rubber outsole completes the Fresh Foam 10803, supplying optimal grip for multi-directional traction. The rubber can withstand damage from uneven terrain, giving you added confidence when running. In addition, the rubber can create a solid bond of friction with various surfaces, crucial for control as you race around the roads. This will reduce the risk of injury from slipping or rolling your ankle, as you will be held in a firm and upright position.
