Nike Zoom Ja Fly 3 Track Spike returns to the lanes with a fine-tuned, featherlight feel specifically designed for 200m sprinters. Updated with a stiffer plate and a new woven upper, the no-sew tip and asymmetrical tongue highlight the modernised design.

Woven Upper

The upper of the Zoom Ja Fly 3 has been constructed using a woven material to increase flexibility and support to your feet as you race. This is to help improve functionality and mobility, allowing you to perform at your optimum level in the quest for a personal best time, or taking the win come race day. Assisting the woven material is a seamless toe tip for comfort and the prevention of friction and irritation such as chafing. As well as being highly functional, the spikes also encourage cool air to circulate, improving airflow to keep your feet cool and composed. An asymmetrical tongue wraps around the foot for a comfortable, contoured fit which minimising the risk of the distraction of snagging or slipping as you run while the traditional lacing system offers a secure, locked-in feel. On the back of the shoe is a heel counter which sits relatively low on the foot and works in tandem with a flexible, lightweight collar to reduce pressure on the achilles tendon, sparing your joints from gradual wear and tear when landing.

Phylon Midsole

A low-profile, Phylon midsole wedge resides in the midsole to provide ample cushioning, comfort and a smooth transition to help improve performance on the track. Having the aforementioned cushioning will help to reduce shock and impact, minimalising damage caused to your knees and joints when motoring through the gait cycle.

Pebax Outsole

An injected Pebax spike plate has been incorporated into the outsole of the Zoom Ja Fly 3 to deliver exceptional grip and traction. The injected Pebax spike plate has a generative design which uses a strategically thought out algorithm to identify where zones of stiffness and flexibility are needed in order to improve performance and efficiency. The outsole also boasts a honeycomb-inspired pattern for added flexibility and traction, allowing a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions while 8 removable spike pins made of stainless steel deliver enhanced grip.
