Synthetic Upper
The upper of the Free TR 9 has been constructed using a synthetic material to provide protection, durability and resilience as you train. This is ideal for tough workouts, gym sessions and classes where you typically make a lot of sharp, aggressive and lateral movements. Located on the synthetic material is embroidered stripes which add structure and further resilience to the shoe. A rounded toe-box allows the foot to expand, ensuring full mobility and a natural foot flex to help improve comfort and performance. Furthermore, a full bootie construction lets you slip the shoe on and off easily while a zig-zag stitch outlines the tongue to create a supportive cage around the midfoot without sacrificing mobility. Even though the shoe is all about structure and support, it also boasts mesh on the tongue for optimum breathability. The mesh encourages cool air to circulate, creating a drier, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. Lastly, an updated heel creates a wider surface and offers greater stability during exercise.
Injected Unit Dual-Fusion Midsole
The injected unit (IU) dual-fusion midsole provides lightweight comfort to help propel you through your intense workout. Rigid Foam Outsole
The outsole of the Free TR 9 features rigid foam around the perimeter, with a softer foam underfoot for a smooth and cushioned feel. Having the support and cushioning from the foam enables shock absorption properties to minimise the shock for a smoother transition. Additionally, flex grooves have been strategically placed throughout the outsole for optimal grip and traction, enabling a full, unrestricted range of motion in all directions.
