Translucent Flymesh Upper

Translucent Flymesh uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. Seamlessly fabricated to reduce layers, bulk and weight, as well as the risk of irritation (because we know how rubbing and blisters can ruin your day), the race-car-inspired design creates ultra-light comfort plus support. Flywire cables integrate with the laces to swathe the midfoot and arch in a secure, dynamic fit. The feathery cables tighten with the laces to eliminate millimetres of movement with each stride, reducing in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free speed. Nike ZoomX Midsole

Revolutionary Nike ZoomX foam resides directly underfoot for heightened responsiveness. Previously only used in the Vaporfly 4%, Nike's fastest marathon shoe, this ultra-light and super-reactive midsole material delivers Nike's greatest energy-return yet, springing in at a magical 85%. It absorbs impact and then expels it back out for a bounce-like effect; this energy-return technology reduces the use of superfluous muscle power, diminishing fatigue and enhancing performance, keeping you going for longer. The revolutionary foam is manufactured from Pebax, a product conventionally used in plastic bridges and other moulded parts, and yields cushioning that is not only lightweight but soft AND springy. Until now, these three characteristics (collectively) have proven nearly impossible to achieve. Pebax has a lower density than some thermoplastic alternatives and this makes it lighter, flexible and more impact-resistant, whilst giving it a higher capacity for energy-return. Rubber Outsole

The bevelled heel is angled to optimise the initial touchdown, promoting a smooth transition to midstance. A rubber outsole completes the Turbo, employing small waffle pistons to supply multi-surface traction; their size helps to reduce weight without compromising durability, resisting the traumas of heel-strike and toe-off to provide you with a shoe that can charge you through training days AND race days. Rubber has been removed in the midfoot to reduce weight, further enhancing the lighter-than-air feel of this shoe.
