Flyknit Uppers

Flyknit uppers will encase each foot in breathable comfort. Perforations across the forefoot and midfoot increase airflow to create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. The one-piece construction seamlessly integrates these areas of high breathability with stretch and support where you need it the most, adapting to the changing shape of your foot as it moves through the gait cycle and reducing slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. A synthetic material wraps from the inside of your foot to the top for a secure and comfortable fit. The supportive synthetic creates a second-skin fit; that conforms to the shape of the foot to provide stability and comfort. As well as this a 1-piece foam collar provides smooth, secure cushioning that reduces the risks of chafing and irritation so you can enjoy distraction-free strides. The low-cut design is comfortable around the ankle and works together with the heel pull tab to ensure an easy on and off. Completing the upper is a lacing system which locks down the midfoot to reduce is shoe slippage so you can enjoy and secure and comfortable fit.

Joyride Midsole

Joyride cushioning technology is an innovation designed to give your legs a day off to make running easier. Developed using 4 zonally-toned pods filled with 10,000 beads that contract and expand as you run, Joyride cushioning technology is comfortable, responsive and personalised. Four strategically placed pockets underneath your foot feature tiny TPE foam beads press and adapt to your every step for better impact absorption and a stable feel. Every time you take a step-or stride-10,000+ beads shape around your foot to provide personalized cushioning and support, before responsively bouncing back to propel you forward. To ensure maximum exposure to the beads, the insole is removed and replaced with a top cloth liner for additional comfort and underfoot feel. Unlike other Nike foam cushioning systems which are static, the Nike Joyride system is dynamic-it shifts and contours around your foot, delivering maximum performance and support; it offers 14% better impact absorption than Nike alternatives. Surrounding the pods and only increasing their effectiveness and comfort is SRO2 foam which works to ensure added cushioning underfoot. Giving a cushlon sensation which you'll be familiar with from previous products the Joyride ensures maximum comfort for those slow recovery runs. Durable Rubber Outsole

Developed using a lightweight rubber outsole, the Joyride Run Flyknit ensures extraordinary traction in varied conditions. The durable rubber provides a strong grip and works to protect itself from damage, and protect users from losing control and slipping. The rubber is placed on high wear areas such as the forefoot and heel to increase durability and resist the traumas of heel-strikes; supplying you with a reliable and long-lasting running buddy. The rubber has been removed in the midfoot to reduce weight, further enhancing the lighter-than-air feel of this shoe. Raised nobs are also featured on the high-wear outsole to increase underfoot traction. The nobs enhance multi-surface traction ensuring confident footing on any recovery day.
