Ultra-Breathable Mesh Upper

The upper of the Matumbo Racing Spikes encase each foot in breathable comfort. The uppers are constructed from an ultra-breathable mesh that allows air to fully permeate the entire upper, providing a constant supply of fresh, cool air. The way the mesh has been fabricated, the fibres are more spaced apart which means when you run it forces air into the upper while simultaneously forcing hot air out of the construction.

In addition, the spikes feature an anatomical toe design that follows the natural contours of the foot. The unique toe design enhances propulsion by increasing space in the forefoot, allowing the toes to splay and push off the ground.

Cushlon Midsole

Residing in the midsole is a technology called Cushlon. This low-profile midsole feature combines pressurised air with internal fibres to deliver responsive cushioning that springs back fast, so you can move faster. This midsole unit acts like a catapult, storing all the energy created as you land and using it to spring you off into your next step.

Spike Plate Outsole

The outsole consists of a horseshoe-shaped spike plate that features 4 pins for optimal grip and propulsion. The spike plate ensures you receive just the right amount of grip and propulsion so you can hunt for that personal record. In addition, a sharkskin heel enhances grip for multi-surface traction and reduced overall weight, allowing you to stay as light as possible without compromising on performance.
