Chenille Fabric Upper
Made to be soft against the skin, the Nike Versair Premium has been created with a Chenille fabric upper. The upper feels like a second skin, as though there's nothing there and you feel comfortable no matter how hard you train. Although lightweight the upper is durable, keeping feet protected and the shoes in top condition even after bumps and scrapes, from your toughest workouts. Perforations in the fabric increase airflow whilst allowing built-up heat to escape, creating a healthier environment for your feet to thrive in. A tough, moulded wrap around the shoe helps secure and support your heel, reducing movement and the potential risk of injury. Completing the upper is a standard lacing system that provides a locked-in feel and reduced movement, so you can enjoy distraction-free strides whilst in the gym.
Air Zoom Cushioning Midsole
The midsole features Nike's innovative horseshoe-shaped Air Zoom units in the forefoot for increased flexibility. Ensuring lightweight, durable and versatile cushioning, the powerful unit features pressurised air inside that compresses and recovers as you jump and lunge around the gym. The unit compresses to reduce impact force and then recovery allows the air unit to return to its original shape and volume to ensure a soft and responsive base for you to push off from. Every time you land, the powerful Air Zoom cushioning absorbs your energy and shoots it right back - springing you into your next move. The low height of the Air Zoom unit keeps you closer to the ground while flex grooves help reinforce and strengthen lateral stability. The units have been combined with a foam midsole made from a durable material, giving you the correct amount of support in key areas for comfort that lasts.
