Nike Air Zoom Structure 25 Running Shoes
With stability where you need it and cushioning where you want it, the Structure 25 supports you for long miles, short training runs and even a down-and-back before the day ends. It's the stability you seek, loyal from the first tie-up, tried and trusted, with a midfoot system that's fully supportive and more comfortable cushioning than before.
Single Layer Mesh Upper
Single-layer mesh uppers will encase each foot in seamless comfort, improving the shoe's durability. Perforations at the forefoot and midfoot add ventilated support to the upper. Flywire cables integrate with the laces to wrap the midfoot and arch in a dynamic fit, helping anchor you to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage to enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. A partial bootie construction surrounds the foot in snug, sock-like comfort, reducing the risk of rubbing and blisters because we know how those can ruin your day. Notches at the tongue make for easy on-and-off, plus an improved heel collar increases comfort around the Achilles tendon. The improved fit is combined with a woven inner to deliver a secure feel that helps keep your foot in place, working to anchor the foot to the midsole and reduce in-shoe slippage so that you can enjoy smooth, distraction-free strides. All materials inside the heel, collar and tongue, have been softened so that any part of the shoe touching your ankle feels smooth and comfortable.
Zoom Air Midsole
A Zoom Air unit in the forefoot offers responsive cushioning. Every step helps create energy return to help drive you forward. It combines pressurised air with internal fibres to deliver responsive cushioning that springs back fast, so you can move faster. Zoom Air's advantage is that as well as providing excellent impact protection, it boasts a super lightweight and low-profile design that lets your feet sit closer to the ground, enhancing proprioception so that you can run more efficiently. It combines with a foam midsole for a plush feeling as your foot hits the ground. There is also a crash pad placement at the heel which provides extra cushioning for heel-to-toe transitions. Nike has added even more cushlon foam to the midsole compared to previous versions for better, longer-lasting support. The shoe's midsole has been shaped like a rocker, the shape of the foam supports the 3 phases of a runner's stride. It offers flexibility when your foot rises off the ground, a smooth ride when your foot is moving forward and cushioning at ground contact.
Durable Rubber Outsole
A durable rubber outsole completes the Air Zoom Structure 25, providing exceptional grip in wet and dry conditions on various surfaces. Duralon covers the forefoot to enhance cushioning whilst supplying a soft, sticky grip. The lightweight, blown synthetic rubber compound incorporates tiny air pockets to create a smooth, pillowy ride. Grooves included in the forefoot create flexibility whilst vertical grooves down the side help create stability.
