Engineered Mesh Upper

Created using an engineered mesh upper, the Journey Run envelopes your foot in breathable comfort. The mesh allows a constant flow of air to circulate whilst at the same time enabling warm air to escape, creating the perfect micro-climate. The toe area has been reinforced to increase durability. The foam collar and tongue help to enhance comfort while a traditional lacing system locks the midfoot for a secure fit. Completing the upper are reflective elements that enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

Cushioned Foam Midsole

Made with an injection foam, the midsole will serve you by protecting, cushioning and supporting distinctive movements. The foam is extremely soft and will deliver a smoother ride by providing cushioning on every step that you take. The responsive cushioning will take the pressure off the knees and ankles to reduce the risk of injuries occurring allowing you to carry on without any distractions.

Rubber Outsole

Completing the Nike Journey Run is a durable rubber outsole. The design of the outsole provides smooth transitions for calm strides. Flex grooves in the outsole move naturally with your foot, from heel to toe ensuring the shoes mimic the natural movements of your run. Made with Nike Grind materials, the outsole is super lightweight and does good for the planet. Nike Grind is made up of surplus manufacturing materials and recycled shoes. The rubber has a durable quality, resisting wear in high-wear areas for better traction on pavement.
