Engineered Mesh Upper

Optimising in-shoe comfort, allowing you to stay confident and providing a constant cooling effect when racing, the Streakfly 2 features a new engineered mesh upper. This increases comfort and breathability under pressure or when things start to heat up, allowing cool, fresh air to surround your feet and prevent them from overheating. The lightweight, flexible design improves the overall fit and feel of the shoes whilst cutting down on weight to keep you focused on every mile and allowing feet to move more naturally when taking tough strides. The seam-free design sits soft against your feet and helps to reduce the risks of irritation or chafing during excessive movement whilst providing a snug fit for feet to thrive. Finally, the redesigned centred lace system with some elasticity in the laces allows a fine-tuned, more custom fit and reduces in-shoe slipping.

ZoomX Midsole

Returning in the 2nd version of the Streakfly, a ZoomX compound delivers feet with a standard-setting combination of flexibility and durability. The ZoomX foam is Nike's lightest, most responsive and resilient compound, providing feet with exceptionally lightweight yet high-energy return with every stride for a bouncy, soft and comfortable race running experience. The full-length midsole provides outstanding energy return for enhancing your performance on road running surfaces and keeping you going for longer, whilst shock-absorbing properties prevent the impact on your joints and muscles when pounding the pavement, softening the blow and reducing the risks of discomfort or injuries. With a new aggressive shape, the shoes have a rocker geometry that naturally puts you on your forefoot, pushing you forward for maximised speed and propulsion. Working alongside this foam is the Streakfly's first-ever full-length carbon Flyplate, which provides unmatched momentum, pushing you forward and improving your performance.

Durable Rubber Outsole

For outstanding grip, durability and traction on a range of road racing and running surfaces, the Streakfly 2 features a durable rubber outsole to keep you secure with the ground below. Strategically placed across the forefoot and some rearfoot areas, the rubber compound supplies a strong grip and protects the shoes from damage and users from losing control and slipping. The shoes have an upgraded outsole with rubber, providing precise traction and keeping you stable during tough miles.
