Lightweight Mesh and Airy Knit Upper
The upper has been crafted from a soft mesh and knit fabric for lightweight comfort. The fabric is highly breathable, thanks to micro-perforations that allow built-up heat and vapour to escape whilst fresh air flows in for a pleasant cooling experience. A heel counter provides stability and support, working alongside the classic lacing system to lock in the fit. This provides you with a totally secure feel that inspires confidence, allowing them to push their limits without worrying about in-shoe slippage or blisters. The padded tongue, lining and heel collar provide a plush feel, and a heel tab helps make on or off quick and easy. The upper is finished with reflective elements, ensuring visibility in low light.
ReactX Foam Midsole
The first in Nike juniors history and with the highest stack height in the junior range, the midsole of the Vomero 18 is constructed from lightweight and bouncy ReactX foam. It strikes a balance between performance and environmental impact thanks to the inspired manufacturing process. It increases energy return by 13% whilst reducing the carbon footprint by at least 43%, creating cushioning and bounce without costing the planet. It is highly responsive, converting the energy of your last step to push you into your next, whilst also protecting your joints as you strike down. The combination of foams is exceptionally comfortable underfoot, allowing you to rack up the miles without even thinking about it.
Durable Rubber Outsole
The outsole has been constructed from a highly durable rubber that resists damage and delivers excellent levels of grip. The redesigned traction pattern delivers maximum adhesion, forming a solid bond with the ground beneath. Pods around the outsole help enhance agility and assist in smoother heel-to-toe transitions.
