Polyester Ripstop Upper

The upper of the Tomir Waterproof has been created using a Polyester Ripstop fabric that is highly durable. The fabric protects itself from bumps and scrapes from rocks and trail debris, providing you with a long-lasting shoe. Not only this but the upper is highly breathable, it allows cool air to circulate whilst built-up heat can escape, providing your feet with the perfect microclimate to thrive in. The boots feature a Sympatex Membrane, this waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane keeps your feet dry from the inside by allowing built-up moisture, vapour and heat to escape whilst simultaneously blocking out external moisture molecules, from rain and snow, keeping your feet dry from the inside and outside for maximum comfort. The membrane used is 100% climate neutral, 100% recyclable, PFC-free and bluesign certified. Completing the upper is an asymmetrical lacing system to increase support and reduce pressure points for a comfortable, locked-in feel when on the trail.

EVA Midsole

Constructed using an EVA midsole, the Tomir Waterproof provides plenty of cushioning for long days on the trail. The EVA provides significant cushioning and rebound, helping you to spring into your next step and improving the level of your performance so you can stay at your optimum level for longer. The midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risks of potential injury.

Vibram Megagrip Outsole

Finishing off the boots is the outsole, the Tomir Waterproof uses a combination of compounds created by Vibram. The first one is Megagrip, a high-performance rubber compound offering unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain easily whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity providing unprecedented grip hike after hike and trail after trail. The second is Litebase, which reduces the overall weight of the sole, while still maintaining Vibram's quality in grip, traction and durability. The two Vibram compounds make the outsole of the Tomir lightweight and grippy, ready to tackle any trail you put in front of it. Not only this but the boots use Vibram Traction Lugs too to further enhance grip and traction.
