Polyester and TPE Upper
The upper of the Nnormal Tomir has been created using a Polyester and TPE Ripstop fabric that is highly durable. The fabric protects from bumps and scrapes from rocks and trail debris, providing a long-lasting shoe. The upper is highly breathable, allowing cool air to circulate whilst simultaneously releasing built-up heat, providing your feet with the perfect microclimate to thrive in. The upper is stretched into the midsole to increase durability. Finishing the upper of the shoes is an asymmetrical lacing system to increase support and reduce pressure points for a comfortable, locked-in feel when on the trail. The laces are made from an anti-slip fabric, once tied these will not come undone, letting you focus on the trail ahead.
EVA Midsole
Constructed using an EVA midsole, the Tomir provides all the cushioning you need for long days on the trail. The foam offers significant cushioning and rebound giving you a boost in each step, improving your performance so you can stay at your optimum level for longer. The midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risk of injury.
Vibram Megagrip and Litebase Outsole
Completing the Tomir, the outsole utilises a combination of Vibram Megagrip and Litebase. The Megagrip is a high-performance rubber offering exceptional sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle any terrain easily whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity providing unprecedented grip hike after hike. The second is Litebase which reduces the overall sole weight by 30%, through a reduction of the sole thickness by 50%, while still maintaining Vibram's quality in grip, traction and durability. The two compounds make the outsole of the Tomir lightweight and grippy ready to tackle any trail. Not only this but the shoes also feature multi-directional lugs to further enhance grip and traction.
