NNormal Tomir 2.0 Walking Boots
Your ultimate companion on outdoor adventures, the Tomir 2.0 Boots offer you outstanding comfort and support. The boots will help you conquer all-day technical hikes and week-long adventures through various terrains and conditions.
Polyester and TPE Upper
The upper of the NNormal Tomir 2.0 Boots have been created using a Monofilament Polyester and TPE Ripstop fabric for high levels of durability. The fabric protects itself from bumps and scrapes from rocks and trail debris, providing a long-lasting boot. The upper is highly breathable, allowing cool air to circulate whilst simultaneously releasing heat build-up, providing your feet with the perfect microclimate to thrive in. Increasing the protection, NNormal has added TPU foils on the toe box and around the boot to help prevent injury from knocks and bumps. The upper is stretched into the midsole to increase the boot's durability. The boots utilise an asymmetrical lacing system, to increase support and reduce pressure points for a comfortable, locked-in feel when traversing the outdoors. Working alongside this, the boots have a wider tongue and U-throat design for an improved foothold when laced up. The laces are made from an anti-slip fabric, once tied these will not come undone letting you focus on the trail ahead.
EExpure Midsole
Providing improved in-shoe comfort from their predecessors, the boots utilise NNormal's new supercritical foam compound, EExpure. This provides the Tomir 2.0 boots with all the cushioning you need for long days on the trail. The foam offers significant cushioning and rebound giving you a boost in each step, improving your performance so you can stay at your optimum level for longer. The foam is lighter than the previous Tomir model but provides a higher energy return. The midsole absorbs shocks as you move throughout the gait cycle providing resilient cushioning and reducing the risk of injury. The foot is in direct contact with the midsole unit, providing you with better propulsion, less movement and blisters. A wider base has been used to increase stability when on uneven terrain whilst improved rocker geometry rocker assists you through the gait cycle for lower-impact and comfortable running over longer periods. The boots utilise 360 midsole stitching for improved durability and added toe puff to protect toes from discomfort. Finally, a new moulded Ortholite footbed improves step-in comfort, enhances the cushioning effect and ensures that you remain at an optimum level of comfort throughout your adventure.
Vibram Outsole
Finishing the boots is the outsole, the Tomir 2.0 uses a combination of compounds created by Vibram. The first of the two is Megagrip, a high-performance rubber compound offering unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain easily whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity providing unprecedented grip hike after hike and trail after trail. The second is Litebase, Vibram Litebase reduces the overall sole weight by 30%, through a reduction of the sole thickness by 50%, while still maintaining Vibram's quality in grip, traction and durability. The two Vibram compounds make the outsole of the Tomir 2.0 lightweight and grippy ready to tackle any trail you put in front of it. Not only this but the hiking boots use Vibram Traction Lugs too. Vibram's Traction Lugs increase traction by up to 25%, adding stability and improving surface area by 50%.
