3-D Engineered Air Mesh
The Newton Kismet 7 running shoe boasts a mesh 3-D Air Mesh upper, that encourages cool air to permeate the fabric and remove uncomfortable heat build-up to create a healthy environment your feet can thrive in. A plush, seamless upper, wraps around the foot delivering a secure fit that offers next-to-skin comfort. The seamless upper eliminates chafing and rubbing for a shoe that adapts and moves with your foot without any distraction or discomfort. Not only this but the shoes have Newton's gender tuning that customises the fit specifically to you. An advanced lacing system offers a versatile fit, securing the midfoot for a complete lockdown that reduces in-shoe slippage providing you with a steady ride on each run. The upper of the Gravity Plus has been made in part with recycled materials.
Action/Reaction Midsole
The Kismet 7 uses Newton's developed Action/Reaction Technology. As you take a stride, the responsive and trampoline-like cushioning system will absorb the energy before quickly returning it as bounce-back. This will mean that the more energy that you put in, the more you will get back from it to give you an added boost. The system will also mean that you will benefit from full cushioning that will offer protection. Full-foot Newtonium Cushioning will mean that the whole of the foot is protected from ground contact. This will prevent injuries and fatigue, whilst allowing you to exercise for longer. The innovative XPS diffusion plate system works with the outsole to maximise impact absorption and energy return whilst delivering a responsive ride. A multi-density medial post sits, to the back of the shoe, keeping your ankle supported, reducing roll and helping you run through the gait cycle naturally.
Abrasion Resistant Rubber Outsole
Grip and traction are guaranteed with this durable rubber outsole. The material is abrasion resistant, which will protect itself from damage when running on hard surfaces. The rubber is also able to secure a strong grip on a wide range of different surfaces. This will give you the confidence of control, whilst also providing a firm base for you to push off from. The multi-directional grooves on the outsole are designed to provide you with more traction, especially on wet ground. The sole also features Newtons P.O.P 2 technology, under the metatarsal pods there is a small space allowing the pods to compress, when released provide a spring-like effect giving you that extra boost.
