Nubuck Leather Upper
A Nubuck leather upper will encase your feet in supple, waterproof comfort and supports you as you tackle tricky trails. The upper of these shoes utilise B-Dry technology, Oboz's proprietary waterproofing system, which has exceptional moisture-wicking technologies; letting sweat escape, whilst keeping moisture out of the shoes, thus keeping your feet dry and comfortable. The moulded heel and toe caps provide you with protection against injuries or knocks from debris and rocks, encasing your feet in a hard layer of protection. Due to the waterproofing properties, the shoes are also more durable, keeping them looking as good as new for longer than ever. The upper is completed with a traditional lacing system, to keep the foot locked in and comfortable throughout your journey.
EVA O Fit Midsole
The Bridger Low B-Dry shoe uses the signature O Fit Insole, which has been thoughtfully designed to maximise your comfort, as well as support. Single density EVA provides added cushioning and support, whereas a shot of urethane under the metatarsals and heels adds extra protection to high-strike zones to keep your feet happy on long-distance days. The dual-density EVA midsole uses a firmer density EVA on the medial side of the shoe, creating a 'medial post'. This barrier to compression helps to support the arch; stopping excessive inward rolling of your foot and stabilises your stride. Both shock-absorbing elements help to spare your joints as you land on hard, unforgiving terrain.
Granite Peak Outsole
Featuring a lightweight chassis and nylon shank, the Granite Peak Outsoles preserves the integrity of the shoe and prevent your feet from being bruised or injured from stones. Not only this, but the TPU Chassis boosts the stability, and allows you to still endure the major flexing to stay comfortable whilst wearing the shoes. The Granite with dual lugs provides the soles with impeccable traction and grip on the ever-changing terrain.
