OMM Phantom 12 Backpack
The unique 7 point harness of the OMM Phantom Backpack is designed to align with runners spines, rather than their shoulders giving you perfectly ergonomic fit. Ensuring your movements aren't restricted, the pack is the next evolution for OMM, giving you the comfort and stability you need.
Throughout a race your shoulder will extend whilst your spine maintains it's line, a backpack with two shoulder straps attach the backpack to the shoulders causing the pack to swing side to side with the running action. OMM have nullified this with their Phantom Suspension system, creating a yolk behind the neck and moving the straps lower to ensure your arms aren't restricted during a race and preventing the backpack to bounce.
Two shock absorbing suspension cords over the shoulder work in tandem to further reduce swing and keep the pack in line with the spine. This unique feature increases efficiency by allowing the spine to stay up right, keeping you stable at all times.
OMM have reduced vertical movement with two equalised anchor points which are fed to a shared adjuster, this creates a very stable Y-shape that hugs the vest pack into the lower spine. During a race when the runner pushes off, the weight pulls on the lower strap and as the runner drops back down, the upper strap tightens, preventing the shoulder loosening, ensuring maximum comfort.
