OMM Mountain Barrage Jacket
The Barrage Jacket may just be the perfect pre- and post-event jacket on those cold and wet race days or just your go-to layer for dashes to the pub.
The Mountain Barrage Jacket uses a Point ZeroH20 fabric as well as minimal taped seams in the construction to provide extreme weather protection. The fabric is ultra-lightweight, breathable and waterproof making this the perfect Layering shell for mountain running. This ultralightweight mountain shell has a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm and a vapour transfer rate of 10,000m/24hrs to ensure breathable waterproofing from sundown to sunrise. As well as this, the jacket is designed to give you exceptional warmth without the bulk, making this jacket highly practical on trails and exposed spots. Constructed using Primaloft Gold, high-quality synthetic insulation, this jacket will make sure that you will be able to retain warmth in extremely cold conditions. As well as this, the insulation is flat and packable, allowing you to make a wide range of unrestricted movements, as well as being able to put the jacket away in a small space for convenience. Should you get too hot in the jacket, the Primaloft will allow a steady flow of air in and out of it, and this constant process will keep you feeling at a comfortable temperature. A full zip down the front of the jacket will block out all wind from entering and causing discomfort, and it can also be quickly adjusted to allow more air in and out of it. A fully covering hood provides shelter from rainfall and retains heat to the head. Carry small items securely with two side pockets. The pockets are fleece-lined, which will also provide comfort and warmth. To retain more heat, there is a drawcord hem which can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. The cuffs fit around the wrists comfortably for a close fit which also works to retain heat. Flat seams within the jacket will reduce the risk of irritation caused by rubbing and chafing. Lastly, the jacket can be easily packed down for simple storage solutions.
