Engineered Mesh Upper
Protecting your feet during poor weather hiking adventures, the Cloudsurfer Waterproof Trail has an upper combining a soft, flexible mesh upper alongside a waterproof membrane. The mesh allows air to flow freely through the uppers so that feet remain comfortable and cool, even during the more intense sections of your journey. The Cloudsurfer Waterproof has been designed to be as versatile and dependable as possible, and thanks to the waterproof membrane, the shoes will keep feet dry, even during stormy weather and in muddy puddles. To prevent discomfort inside the shoes is an extra padded collar and tongue, which sits against your foot for ultimate comfort. Offering a secure, locked-in fit the shoes have a traditional lace-up closure, preventing in-shoe slipping and ensuring a precise fit.
Advanced Midsole and Outsole
Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and invaluable insights, the Cloudsurfer Waterproof utilises a CloudTec compound, which works alongside Helion superfoam to supply perfect underfoot cushioning and energy return. This combination of materials will provide a balanced level of cushioning to keep your feet comfortable and provide a soft landing on the trails, absorbing impact, reducing strain and adapting well to your walking style. Reacting according to your unique movements, CloudTec compresses horizontally and vertically to cushion just where it should. The horizontal deformation of the Clouds reduces braking force and propels you forward. It also helps prevent injury so you can run pain-free.
Utilising a newly updated Missiongrip rubber compound and new forefoot lugs, the Cloudsurfer Waterproof have exceptional grip and traction when traversing in dry and wet conditions. The shoes also feature a closed outsole, avoiding stone eating whilst ensuring things remain lightweight and agile. Multi-directional lugs help to enhance grip and traction.
