Engineered Mesh Upper
Protecting your feet during poor weather hiking adventures, the Cloudsurfer Waterproof has a mesh upper, with a waterproof membrane to keep your feet cool and dry. The mesh construction allows air to flow freely through the uppers, meaning feet will remain comfortable and cool, even during more intense sections of your journey. The waterproof membrane will prevent water from entering when traversing across different weather conditions and terrains. To prevent discomfort inside the shoes is an extra padded collar and tongue, which sits against your foot for ultimate comfort. Providing a secure, locked-in fit, the shoes have a traditional lace-up closure, preventing in-shoe slipping and ensuring you're provided with a precise fit.
Advanced Midsole and Outsole
Using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and invaluable insights, the Cloudsurfer utilises a CloudTec compound, which works alongside Helion superfoam to supply you with a perfect level of underfoot cushioning and energy return. This combination of materials will provide you with a balanced level of cushioning to keep your feet comfortable and provide a soft landing on the trails, whilst simultaneously absorbing impact, reducing strain and adapting well to your walking style. Reacting according to your unique movements, CloudTec compresses horizontally and vertically to cushion just where it should. The horizontal deformation of the Clouds as you run does more than just absorb impact, reduces braking force and propels you forward. It also helps prevent injury so you can run pain-free.
Utilising a newly updated Missiongrip rubber compound and new forefoot lugs, the Cloudsurfer have exceptional grip and traction when traversing in dry and wet conditions. The shoes also feature a closed midsole, which avoids stone eating whilst also ensuring things remain lightweight and agile. Multi-directional lugs help to enhance grip and traction.
