Patagonia Boulder Fork Rain Jacket
Whether you're seeking boulders and alpine views or stalking rainbow trout, this low-profile, waterproof jacket will keep you dry and provide rain protection from the fork in the trail to the places less travelled and back again.
Created with an H2No Performance Standard 3-layer shell, the Boulder Fork Rain jacket from Patagonia provides the highest levels of comfort, performance and long-term waterproof durability. The jacket works to keep water out whilst remaining highly breathable, keeping you dry inside and out. Furthering weather protection, the jacket has a DWR (Durable Water Resistant) coating so you stay dry in light showers. With a minimalist and streamlined design with just the essential features, Patagonia has created a clean shell that's highly packable for when it is no longer needed. The jacket has a low-profile hood with a laminated visor, which can be adjusted using a single pull cord, provides good visibility in poor conditions and is large enough to accommodate a variety of headwear, effectively shedding water whilst lying flat when not in use. A waterproof, anti-corrosive, exposed centre-front zipper, provides easy on/off whilst also helping with ventilation, allowing you to release heat when down and trapping heat when up. For storage of essential items, the jacket has one left-chest zippered pocket and two welted, watertight, zippered high handwarmer pockets that are large enough for a fly box, a map or a notebook. Using minimal cuffs with streamlined hook-and-loop tabs the jacket can seal out the harshest of weather and with an adjustable drawcord cinch at the hem, routed up through the front pockets, keeps out weather and reduces bulk under a pack waistbelt. This jacket has been made in a Fair Trade certified factory, meaning that the workers work in safe working conditions and the environment is protected in the process.
