Utilising impressive Recycled Down materials, the City Storm Parka is bound to be your go-to winter warmer. Recycled Down is diverted from the landfill, therefore reducing waste, and reintroducing used down into the insulation market. Created using a mix of either 700-fill-power goose and duck down that has been reclaimed from cushions, bedding and other used items that can't be resold. By plucking down from the trash, Patagonia aims to reduce waste and contribute to the down-recycling stream. This technique ensures that you remain cosy and warm, yet with the knowledge that you have contributed to the ethical sourcing of materials and products. Not only is the jacket cosy and warm, but the City Storm Parka has a DWR finish to help keep you, and the garment dry. The fabrics help moisture to bead up and roll off the outer layer, preventing soaking from the outside, as well as the possibility of you becoming cold, clammy or wet. This DWR lining is in line with Patagonia's H₂No Performance Standard. Besides, all of the exceptional technical qualities, the jacket also has a multitude of practicalities, to help you feel prepared for your next adventure. The City Storm Parka has four handy pockets, including two chest pockets, so you can store away your essentials, with easy access to them. A full-length two-way zip provides you easy access in and out of the jacket and gives you a great level of airflow control to ensure you remain at a perfect temperature for you. A storm guard with bottom and top snap guards also prevent windchill from entering the garment. The cuffs have button closures, allowing you to make preferable changes to the sleeves and how they sit, whilst also preventing windchill from occurring and causing discomfort. Finally, the jacket has an integrated hood that ensures you have coverage during changing weather conditions, and protection in windy circumstances.
