Patagonia AlpLight Down Jacket
The AlpLight Down Jacket uses NetPlus postconsumer recycled nylon fabric made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution, and was designed for cool-weather missions when you need a featherlight insulating layer that packs down small and still keeps you warm.
This jacket is crafted from ultralightweight, packable NetPlus 100% postconsumer recycled nylon ripstop fabric (made from recycled fishing nets to help reduce ocean plastic pollution) with a PFC-free DWR finish to provide durable, eco-conscious weather protection. The jacket is filled with 800-fill-power Advanced Global Traceable Down (goose down certified by NSF International to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked) for cosy warmth, and the varied quilting pattern stabiles them down to avoid migration. The overstuffed collar retains warmth and the narrow channels provide shape and reduce bulk for enhanced mobility at the elbows and shoulders. The quilting helps maintain loft for comfort and reduces drafts so you stay warm. The elasticated cuffs and drawcord waist help seal in warmth further, and the two handwarmer pockets with hidden zippers provide a place to rest and warm hands or store items securely. For maximum convenience, the jacket self-stuffs into the right pocket, which has a carabiner clip-in loop. The centre-front zipper has a wicking interior storm flap and zipper garage at the chin for next-to-skin comfort.
