Patagonia Micro Puff Hooded Jacket
Using a combination of Pertex Quantum shell with PlumaFill insulation, the Micro Puff Hooded Jacket provides the best warmth-to-weight ratio of any jacket created by Patagonia. It will be your go-to insulation piece for mixed cold conditions.
The Micro Puff Hooded Jacket has an ultralight windproof Pertex Quantum shell, constructed using NetPlus 100% postconsumer recycled Nylon ripstop, made from recycled fishing nets, which helps to reduce ocean plastic pollution. The shell also has a PFC-free DWR finish, protecting you from light rain and moisture. Working alongside this, the jacket utilises revolutionary lightweight PlumaFill insulation which replicates the structure of down, using a continuous synthetic material, offering the warmth and packability of down, but with the warm-when-wet performance of synthetic insulation. This is combined with an innovative quilting construction that stabilises and maximises the loft of the PlumaFill strands, with minimal stitching. The jacket has an array of exceptional properties, preparing you for your adventures, including a centre-front zip, with a storm flap and zipper garage for next-to-skin comfort. The jacket has two welted, zippered handwarmer pockets and two internal drop-in pockets, for storing your essentials safely and securely, the left pocket doubles up as a stuff sack. The hood is helmet-compatible to keep you comfortable and shielded from changing weather. To prevent windchill from occurring, the jacket has elasticated cuffs and an adjustable hem seal, helping to keep you warm.
