Because it is so lightweight, this half-zip can be used as an excellent layering piece, or on its own for protection that won't weigh you down. Overlapping slits on the left and right chest and a slit on the center back promote airflow so you stay cool and control, whilst the half zip further aids ventilation, allowing for quick and easy heat dumping. Two side pockets with hook-and-loop closures are large enough to hold a phone and other small items on the go. A secure, zippered left-chest pocket holds valuables and converts to a stuffsack for maximum versatility.
