Petzl IKO Core Headtorch
The Petzl IKO Core Headtorch offers 500 lumens to light up the trail. This lightweight headlamp is rechargeable and has an AIRFIT headband for maximum comfort.
The rechargeable IKO Core headlamp from Petzl combines multiple technologies to offer 500 lumens at only 79 g. The innovative, streamlined design with semi-rigid headband and ultra thin lamp body makes this headlamp ergonomic and comfortable. The battery pack is in the rear which helps to distribute the weight of the headlamp over the entire head, so that it is balanced and comfortable enough to be almost imperceptible. The AIRFIT headband is water repellent so resists sweat and rain, helping to keep you dry. The thin headband reduces the area of contact and therefore improves air circulation during dynamic activities, allowing cool air to permeate. The quick and easy rear adjustment allows you to create the most secure and comfortable fit for minimal distractions whilst on the trails. The multiple LEDs are ideally distributed to provide uniform lighting, for optimal visual comfort. There are two beam types (flood or mixed) and many white brightness levels to meet different user requirements: proximity lighting, movement and distance vision. The three lighting levels are easily and quickly accessible with a single button, for easy changes whilst on the move. The rechargeable battery charges via a micro USB port, and can also be used with three AAA batteries (not included). The IKO Core is super versatile and easy to use. It can be mounted in various ways, worn on the head or around the neck, placed on a table, attached to a tent pole or tree, and the storage pouch allows it to be transformed into a lantern. The reflective components on the rear help to keep you visible at night. A battery charge indicator works when the lamp is turned on or off, so it is easy to check remaining battery life. Two lock functions are ideal for avoiding accidentally turning the lamp on, and it can be flattened to reduce bulk, making it practical for all outdoor activities.
