Puma Explore Nitro Women's Walking Shoes
Puma's first hiking-specific shoe, the Explore Nitro has been designed for all trails, from flat and gravelly to steep and rocky, combined with NITRO foam and PROFOAMLITE through the midsole, providing comfort across various terrain.
Mono-Mesh Upper
Providing feet with optimised breathability and a flexible fit, the Explore NITRO utilises a mono-mesh upper construction. The fabrics provide feet with constant airflow to keep them cool and comfortable even during long, strenuous hikes. Additionally, the materials have highly flexible properties for a comfortable fit and feel allowing feet to bend and flex naturally, preventing restrictions from occurring. A flared midfoot shape provides a cosy fit while the toe drainage ports provide a dry sensation when traversing changing conditions. The shoes have an OPTIFIT system, an adaptive fit construction designed to offer a secure lockdown and support your exercise. Working alongside this, the shoes have a unique collar shape and a heel support lacing system, for a secure fit, preventing in-shoe slipping from occurring and keeping you focused on the adventures ahead.
NITRO Midsole
Utilising Puma's nitro-infused foam, the Explore Nitro utilises a NITRO midsole. This is designed to provide outstanding responsiveness and excellent cushioning in a lightweight package, for comfort and confidence when traversing across changing terrains and in different conditions. An extremely lightweight EVA is also present in the midsole, referred to as Puma's PROFOAMLITE, and has been constructed to cushion your landing and propel you through each stride.
PUMAGRIP ATR Outsole
Providing you trail-ready performance and excellent grip across various surfaces, the shoes utilise a PUMAGRIP ATR outsole. This outsole has been designed for a range of surfaces including traction on ice, mud and unstable surfaces, to provide you with next-level grip perfect for adventurous hikes in all seasons. The outsole is highly durable enhancing longevity and keeping you in control from start to finish. The deep chevron lugs provide grip on muddy and wet ground, keeping you stable.
