Breathable Textile Upper
The upper of the Puma evoSPEED Distance 11 has been created with an ultra-breathable textile construction that will encase each foot in streamlined comfort. The lightweight structure allows air to flow through it thanks to perforations in the fabric, these create a better, healthier environment for your feet to thrive. The spikes have an internal bonded suede support structure which provides protection and stability, the soft feel of the suede makes these perfect for barefoot use. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot reducing in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.
EVA Midsole
Super responsive and lightweight, the spikes use an EVA midsole that reacts to each step providing cushioning on impact. This cushioning is important on footstrike as it reduces the amount of shock that is felt resulting in better and longer-lasting performance. Resilient and feathery, the midsole spares your joints as you sprint down onto a hard, unforgiving track before take-off. An EVA sockliner, that's die-cut and cemented to the Strobel board provides a cushioned fit underfoot. Completing the midsole is an internal TPU shank that's strategically placed underneath the midfoot, providing exceptional energy return and torsional rigidity while offering optimal propulsion at toe-off, adding a spring in your step so you can hit top speed quicker.
Five Spike Outsole
Completing the evoSPEED Distance 11 is a five-pin Pebax spike plate on the outsole, this U-shaped forefoot plate provides extra grip through a sharp pin design for long-lasting traction and propulsion on all surfaces. The spikes will dig into the track, anchoring you in a strong and stable position. In addition, the spikes offer an excellent base from which to push for extremely efficient propulsion and traction. The durable material used will reduce the risk of damage and improve the longevity of the shoes. In the heel, Puma has used EVERTRACK highly abrasion-resistant rubber to enhance durability whilst a curved and tapered last brings runner easily up onto their toes for maximum speed and propulsion.
