Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the Puma evoSPEED Star 9 has been created with a lightweight and breathable mesh that encases each foot in complete comfort. The lightweight structure has perforations within the fabric to allow air to flow through it, creating a better, healthier environment for feet to thrive in. Puma Formstrip on the upper helps to increase stability. Completing the upper is a traditional lacing system that helps to lock the midfoot to prevent excessive movement.
EVA Midsole
Featuring an EVA midsole, the evoSPEED Star 9 is responsive and lightweight. The midsole reacts to each step providing cushioning on impact. This cushioning is important on footstrike as it reduces the amount of shock that is felt resulting in better and longer-lasting performance whilst sparing joints as you sprint down onto a hard, unforgiving track.
Extended Pebax Plate
Updated with an extended Pebax plate, the evoSPEED Star 9 uses six changeable spike pin receptacles that are strategically placed. The plate's stiff feel helps to propel you forward, so you can pick up the pace. This updated outsole design offers superior traction as well as propulsion and comes with replacement spikes for added confidence and longer-lasting use.
