Designed to provide protection in extreme environments, the Rab Microlight Women's Gilet is perfect for outdoor adventures. Featuring Pertex Quantum, the gilet uses an ultra-thin water-resistant coating to provide increased weather resistance for extreme conditions. Pertex Quantum delivers a high level of water resistance whilst remaining lightweight and breathable for all temperature comfort. The durable nature of the fabric works to give you peace of mind on tough ascents, it provides lightweight abrasion resistance so you'll never have to worry about tears. Pertex Quantum is ideal for use in cold or damp environments where keeping warm and dry is crucial. As well as this, the Pertex fabrication maximises the efficiency of insulation to keep you toasty and warm when temperatures drop. To keep you comfortable and warm, a 700 fill power P.U.R.E recycled hydrophobic down has been used within the fabrication; it offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. As well as this, the gilet features a combination of zoned micro and nano baffles to increase core warmth without inflating weight or bulk. Nikwax has also been used on the gilet to keep you insulated even in wet conditions. A relaxed fit is designed to be slim fitting but not too tight, it supplies comfortable coverage that moves with you and provides enough room for layering if you require it. The fit also ensures freedom of movement because your clothing choice should never inhibit your natural motion. A front zip exists for complete temperature control, it can be worn up to seal in the heat and zipped down to release an intolerable heat build-up. The drawcord adjustable hem allows you to cinch down the fit whilst Zippered hand pockets can be used to store your essential items.
