Featuring Pertex Quantum Pro, the jacket uses an ultra-thin water-resistant coating to provide increased weather resistance in changing weather conditions. Pertex Quantum delivers a high level of water resistance whilst remaining lightweight and breathable for all temperature comfort. The durable nature of the fabric works to give you peace of mind on tough ascents and provides lightweight abrasion resistance to reduce tearing. Pertex Quantum is ideal for use in cold or damp environments where keeping warm and dry is crucial. Additionally, the jacket utilises the new PrimaLoft ThermoPlume+ loose-fill insulation which offers unbelievable insulation by trapping warm air inside the garment for maximum warmth at minimum weight. The insulation is also extremely practical in damp and changeable conditions by delivering low-maintenance longevity with clump-free distribution. Featuring a heat-reflective TILT lining that reflects heat back towards your body, the Cirrus Ultra has you fully covered. Working alongside the TILT lining is sheet insulation which has been added under the arms to reduce bulk and over the shoulders where backpack straps would be to offer you instant warmth and comfort in any conditions. The helmet-compatible hood with rear elasticated, concealed internal face adjustment and stiffened peak provides further elemental protection and can be altered to a more personalised fit while a two-way YKK VISLON front zip with insulated zip baffle and fleece-lined chin guard assists in putting the jacket on and off and can also be used to regulate airflow for optimal ventilation. The dual-sided rear hem adjustment with an anti-snag tether allows you to cinch down the fit whilst elasticated cuffs help to seal in escaping heat. Completing the jacket are two zippered hand pockets, two zippered chest pockets and one integrated storage pocket with a harness attachment loop that can be used to store your essential items or keep your hands warm when temperatures drop.
