Stay warm and protected on outdoor adventures with the Rab Generator Alpine Jacket. Designed to keep you comfortable, warm and protected, the jacket utilises Pertex Quantum Pro fabrics. Constructed using a combination of two Pertex Quantum Pro fabrics, the front is made from diamond-shaped filaments for snag resistance and the rear uses the same 20D Pertex Quantum Pro Diamond fabric but with the added benefit of fully recycled materials so that you can rest assured knowing that you are wearing an exceptional jacket that is better for the environment. The inside of the Rab Generator Alpine Jacket is lined with 15D Atoms fabric that is soft on the skin as well as breathable to help sweat and moisture vapour escape. It is insulated with PrimaLoft Gold Insulation insulation with Cross Core technology. PrimaLoft Gold is warm, resists compression and is very easy to care for, making it one of the finest synthetic insulations. Cross Core combines the high performing PrimaLoft synthetic insulation with Aerogel to boost the warmth of the jacket without adding much weight. A micro-baffle construction ensures that the insulation is kept in place whilst minimising weight and pack size without compromising on warmth. The Generator also has a helmet-compatible hood with a stiffened peak and 2-way adjustment. Sleeves are articulated for mobility with hook-and-loop adjustments at the oversize cuff for use with large gloves. The Generator Alpine Jacket has a two-way YKK® VISLON® front zip which allows for easy belaying, with an insulated zip baffle and a comfortable chin guard.
