This versatile, mid-weight Matrix softshell pant is designed for steep and technical hiking, scrambling, and climbing in all seasons.
Perfect for scrambling up mountains, the Rab Ascendor AS Pants are the ideal addition to your outdoor adventures. Built for all-season use, the pants are breathable but also offer warmth in cold conditions. Constructed using a hardwearing, mid-weight Matrix softshell, these pants offer an abundance of comfort and stretch so you can remain comfortable at all times. The stretchy fabrication allows you to achieve a full range of motion in all directions because your clothing choice should never inhibit your natural motion. As well as this, the fabric offers wind resistance and weather protection whilst remaining breathable making the pant perfect for all weather conditions and fast drying for comfort at all times. With articulated knees and a long length crotch gusset, the pants provide excellent mobility for high steps or bridging whilst the zipped ankle gusset allows the hem to be widened to suit a wide variety of footwear. A part-elasticated, high waistband fits comfortably under a harness and can be adjusted thanks to its compatibility with either a belt or braces. Two mesh-lined hand pockets and one zipped thigh pocket give plenty of secure storage for small essentials and reinforced kicker patches offer protection for the lower leg.
