The Rab Kinetic 2.0 Women's Jacket is a new updated version of the classic Kinetic, now with improved materials and technologies. The Kinetic 2.0 is the perfect balance between a soft shell and a hard shell, combining the softness, stretchiness and breathability of a softshell with the waterproof capabilities of a hard-shell. Crafted from Proflex material, a 3 layer fabric comprised of a recycled polyester knit face with PU membrane and a recycled polyester backer. Proflex has a hydrostatic head of 10,000mm with superb breathability and windproofing, so you can stay comfortable during strenuous activity in challenging conditions, and thanks to its light weight , there will be nothing holding you back from achieving your goals. The Kinetic 2.0 also has taped seams for additional weather resistance. Cut for a close fit, but with enough space underneath to layer up, so you can stay warm and insulated without excess fabric. This jacket also features a stretch on hood with drawcords to adjust the fit, keeping you warm and protected. Additionally, this hood also features a laminated, stiffened, flexible polymer peak for additional facial protection and improved visibility.
Adjustable velcro cuffs and a single end adjustable hem drawcord work to seal out the weather, especially useful when it is cold and wet. A brushed tricot chin guard also provides buffering against challenging weather and feels soft against the skin. The twin pockets and main zip use YKK Aquaguard zips to make them as watertight as possible, so you and your possessions are protected from showers. This jacket is predominantly an outer jacket but can also be used as an inner jacket when static for super-toasty warmth. This jacket provides the best of both worlds with lightweight stretch and weather resistance, making it a wardrobe essential, however in very extreme conditions you should not use this as a replacement for a hard shell jacket.
