From the rugged ranges of Alaska to the vast expanses of the Arctic, the Batura Jacket is designed for expedition use at high altitudes or in polar environments.
Built to withstand tough conditions, the Batura Waterproof Down Jacket from Rab easily deflects wind, rain, sleet or snow thanks to its robust Pertex Shield shell. Not only this but the jacket is fully taped for complete waterproof protection. Constructed with 100% recycled materials, the Batura is also a little lighter and narrow box-wall baffles further help to reduce the weight and bulk of the jacket whilst allowing the down to fully loft. This works to trap heat to keep you feeling warm and cosy on your outdoor adventures. Featuring designs that help you operate more easily in extremely cold temperatures, the jacket includes an insulated, draught-free zip, inside mesh pockets and hand pockets that sit behind the jacket's insulation. The insulated front zip helps to keep warmth in and prevents windchill from entering while the hand pockets offer a warm place to rest your hands when the temperature plummets. The inside mesh pockets are large enough to stow away plenty of gear and are easily accessible even when wearing bulky gloves. The hood can be adjusted and cinched in to suit your needs and seal out the wind. It is complete with a stiffened peak that helps to improve visibility and protect your face from the elements. Whether launching an expedition to a high-altitude peak or exploring some of the world's harshest environments, the Batura from Rab will ensure you stay warm and dry.
