Rab Kinder Down Smock

Paying homage to the much-loved original, Rab's classic Kinder Smock is back.

First manufactured over 30 years ago, the Kinder Smock quickly became a favourite on the Sheffield climbing scene. It could be easily picked out against the dark gritstone and its iconic shape meant it could be worn without interfering with a harness or belay device. With an unbroken link from past to present, the new Kinder Down Smock is as rugged and hard-wearing as before. Constructed from Pertex fabric like the classic, the Kinder features a tough, breathable shell with a 650FP down filling. This down is RDS certified by Control Union 842603. With a stitch-through construction, the jacket helps to ensure a better distribution of down for core warmth that you can rely on time and time again. A large kangaroo patch pocket with tricot lining, YKK zipped security pocket inside, a down-filled high collar and YKK Vislon zips at the front and side make this Rab Kinder Down Smock perfect for throwing on at a cold belay.
